The Montessori touch fabrics is a sensorial lesson for ages 3-6. Interacting with the material refines the tactile sense. Matching occurs with textures while the child is blindfolded often. Motor skills are also developed by buttoning, snapping, hooking and tieing. Children after mastering these skills dress themselves with ease at a early age.
